Three trails come together here to provide an easy, enjoyable hike on a relatively flat trail that is a bit rocky at points that crosses a desert bajada with trees, saguaro and other cacti, and desert shrubs. A wide variety of desert birds can be seen along this hike, providing great mountain views. Parking, restrooms, shade ramadas, water, and interpretive signage are available. This is a great hike for you, your family, and your friends!
There is no limit on the number of registrants or guests — just bring your water bottle, good hiking shoes, and your enthusiasm for Arizona's outdoors!
Note: dogs are allowed as long as they are on leash. We also do not recommend bringing small children in strollers, as the trails are too rocky at certain intervals.

Registration Form
Located on the east side of Thompson Peak Rd. between Legacy Blvd. and Bell Rd. Walk from the parking area toward the Gateway entry structure. This is where we will meet prior to starting the hike.
At the end of the hike, we will follow the Gateway Loop trail to the Saguaro trailhead and turn right again. Then we’ll hike along back to the entry structure and the parking area.
